Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our QA team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our systems by designing and executing rigorous test plans. You will work closely with developers and product managers to catch bugs early and optimize the user experience.Experience working within secure, mission-critical military environments or testing scalable cloud infrastructures is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-End Quality: Conduct thorough GUI testing to ensure visual alignment, responsiveness, and a seamless user interface.
- Network & Architecture: Verify data flow and troubleshoot client-server architectures, inspecting web traffic and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS).
- Automation Maintenance: Participate in automation debugging to identify, analyze, and fix failing scripts within the existing automation framework.
- Test Execution & Design: Create, maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans based on system requirements.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, isolate, document, and track software defects through to resolution using tools like Jira.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved or new features are deployed.
- Collaboration: Work alongside developers and product teams to understand system architecture, identify edge cases, and ensure QA alignment.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test results, metrics, and quality assurance processes.
Requirements (Must-Haves):
- 1–2 years of professional experience as a Software QA Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scripts/cases.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Grafana, Kibana).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Effective communication skills to articulate technical issues to development teams.
Advantages (Nice-to-Haves):
- Military/Defense Systems: Prior experience testing military, aerospace, or defense systems (command & control, embedded systems, or high-security software).
- Cloud Ecosystems: Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding of cloud environments, microservices, or SaaS architectures.
- Automation Exposure: Basic knowledge or a strong desire to learn test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Python).
