PaceMate® QA Tester (Manual) (full-time, 100% remote job)

JOB SUMMARY
The PaceMate QA Tester position is responsible for testing and analysis of web and database-based applications, writing test cases, test execution, and tracking issues through resolution. Desired experience is a minimum of 2 years working with cardiac devices (industry, hospital/clinic, remote monitoring)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high-quality release.
- Working with business partners and software development engineers to test and fix issues.
- Developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed defect reports, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
- Troubleshoot, triage and provide detailed debug information for expediting issue resolution.
- Testing large technology stacks with many software components.
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years industry experience working with cardiac devices.
- Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause.
- Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented.
- Ability and passion for learning new frameworks and technologies quickly.
- Experience working in health tech companies preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience working with the PaceMate platform (internal or external users) preferred.
- Previous experience working in the field of QA preferred.
- IBHRE Certification – CCDS or CDRMS preferred.
- Experience working with health records and medical device data – including HL7 data. preferred.
- Experience working with relational databases/SQL - MySQL preferred.
