We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and help ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our scrapers, parsers, APIs, and database-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for scrapers, parsers, APIs, and database systems.
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple environments to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate API responses, data consistency, and scraper performance against defined specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define testing strategies.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Perform regression testing, ensuring seamless integration of new features without disrupting existing functionalities.
- Contribute to release management by conducting internal deployment testing and verifying production readiness.
- Continuously enhance testing processes by identifying areas for automation and optimization.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in QA testing, ideally with scrapers, APIs, or database-driven applications.
- Testing Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Postman, JUnit, or similar frameworks for automated and manual testing.
- Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- APIs: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git for tracking changes and collaborating on code.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a focus on identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect subtle defects and ensure accuracy in testing outcomes.
