We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technical Services Coordinator to participate in internal and external food safety audits through inspections, related food safety document creation and review, program verification and corrective actions. Lead the trace and recall program to ensure the full traceability of NWP products and perform traces and mock recalls as required. Ensure the adequacy of recordkeeping and documentation related quality assurance documentation. Manage the plant Hold program to include maintenance of hold log, hold inventory, and dispositioning of product with assistance of Quality Supervisors. Work with in-house USDA to disposition product and participate in product cuttings. This role will be responsible for monitoring the Quality system to ensure that the system is operating effectively at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, revise, and maintain SOP's Work Instructions, Forms, Specifications, and Quality Manual documents.
- Maintain Document control and revision history.
- Provide backup support to the QA Leads and QA Supervisor.
- Assis in monthly internal audits of facility and food safety program (SQF) by performing inspection, reviewing documents, recording findings and creating corrective actions (CAPA)
- Maintain customer statements, specifications, and technical documents.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the position.
- 3+ years of related food quality experience and food manufacturing experience required.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and bilingual Spanish/English language abilities preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in HACCP and developing and maintaining HACCP records and knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) processes and programs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, and credit screen, and to work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early November.
