About you

As a QA Technical Lead, you’ll be instrumental in quality across the entire product lifecycle, ensuring our platform delivers exceptional usability, performance, and reliability for our customers. 

You’ll define and drive the quality strategy, not only through test automation and deployment readiness but also by advocating for customer-centric testing—proactively identifying risks in user experience (UX), accessibility, and scalability. 

What You’ll Do:

• Elevate testing beyond functional correctness, incorporating usability, performance, security, and accessibility into quality standards
• Lead the QA efforts in a cross-functional team by defining and implementing automated testing and release strategies, and contribute to the evolution of shared CI/CD practices across teams.
• Act as the technical owner of the QA release process, ensuring smooth and predictable software rollouts.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps to define quality gates and improve delivery pipelines.
• Mentor QA engineers across squads, championing best practices in automation and test design.
• Promote a culture of quality ownership, mentoring teams to **think like customers** while building and testing features
• Lead the development and maintenance of integration, system, regression, and performance test suites.
• Monitor release health and own post-release validation strategies.
• Drive test coverage improvements and reduce manual testing where possible.
• Analyze test failures and trends to improve long-term product quality.
• Represent QA in planning and retrospective meetings; be the voice of quality.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with 2+ years in a technical or lead capacity.
• Solid experience in automated testing and release engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Python and experience with Pytest, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
• A quality-first mindset and a passion for test automation, scalability, and maintainability.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Xray for Jira or similar test management tools.
• Experience in cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Postman, API testing, and performance testing tools.
• Basic Linux administration knowledge.
