QA Senior Technical Analyst

Sabot Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and analytical QA Senior Technical Analyst to support quality assurance efforts across complex Medicaid and healthcare IT systems. This role is responsible for evaluating technical documentation, system designs, and database structures to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset to support continuous improvement and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business structures and system requirements to ensure alignment with approved plans.
- Review and provide technical feedback on contractor-submitted SDLC deliverables, including Requirements Specification Documents (RSD), Functional Design Documents (FRDs), and Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
- Assess current system designs and enterprise architecture, recommending improvements to enhance performance and compliance.
- Monitor systems and platforms for SLA compliance and recommend operational improvements.
- Analyze Service Desk and Call Center ticket trends and aging issues to identify systemic problems.
- Conduct code reviews and assess disaster recovery (DR) testing efforts and results.
- Evaluate deployed releases and services to verify they meet customer requirements.
- Review database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions for compliance with standards and regulations.
- Interpret database performance metrics and operational utility reports.
- Assess system upgrades and patches for potential impacts on existing systems.
- Support planning and staffing for IT operations to ensure readiness for new services.
- 8+ years in software development lifecycles and database management, including writing/debugging complex queries and troubleshooting system issues.
- 5+ years developing and implementing QA processes, performing QA assessments, and leading cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years analyzing organizational structures and functional interdependencies.
- 2+ years working with cloud-based solutions and architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience using Orbus iServer suite.
- Certifications such as The Open Group TOGAF Business Architect Certification, Certified Business Architect (Business Architecture Guild), Microsoft MCSA, ITIL or equivalent business architecture certifications
- 2 years of experience performing similar responsibilities in healthcare systems.
