Job Description:
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the execution of all actions required to maintain and enhance the quality and food safety programs including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Sanitation Effectiveness and Pre-Operational Inspection programs and Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the manufacturing plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Performing routine testing
- Review of testing of all quality and food safety work
- Mathematical & Analytical skills
- Knowledge of foreign material detection/rejection devices
- Knowledge of COAs
- Preventive control monitoring records
ABOUT YOU:
You'll fit right in if you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; (6) months of related experience in food science, Microbiology, Food Chemistry, or relevant field.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques, chemistry, microbiology, and math skills
- The ability to think proactively and provide effective feedback to other departments and leadership.
- Good communication (verbally and written), problem solving and organizational skills.
