QCSS Health offers an exciting opportunity to support health care insurers and providers in improving health care outcomes for vulnerable populations. Our solutions positively impact over a quarter million health plan members. We are expanding and seeking a QA Specialist to join our Product team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
  • Collaborate with developers to diagnose issues and validate fixes
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Contribute to automated testing efforts and improve test coverage
  • Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practices
  • Participate in product team discussions to ensure quality is considered at every stage

Qualifications And Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Skilled in both manual and automated testing techniques
  • Proven ability to support cross-functional projects, drive execution, and resolve issues in high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience validating large datasets and backend logic to ensure data accuracy beyond front-end/UI testing
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback that fosters collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location/Travel

  • Position is available remotely
  • QCSS is headquartered in Cambridge, MA
  • Travel may be required to organize, execute, and attend in-person events and periodic in-person company meetings

Hiring Process

  • The initial screen will be a 30-minute call
  • The first interview will be a 60-minute video call
  • The final interview will include presentation of an exercise and be a 90-minute video call
  • The final step of the process will be a reference check

Background Checks/Federal HealthCare Program Exclusion Lists Screening

Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check. All QCSS employees are subject to annual screening to ensure that they have not been excluded from the Federal Healthcare Programs (using the OIG and GSA Exclusion Lists) or State Medicaid Programs. The Company’s pre-employment background check and OIG/GSA Exclusion Lists screening program is administered in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
