We are looking for a QA Specialist to function as a software tester and product expert across multiple teams and multiple divisions of OPIS. You will play an integral role in the development and deployment of software in a fast-paced environment. You will embrace many different roles, offering input on development impact on our existing internal environment as well as anticipating impact on customer files, software, and experience. You will contribute to the Quality Assurance organization by leveraging business knowledge to aid in increased alignment between business requirements and IT deliveries.

  • Document and track testing results and bugs, working with developers to understand and recreate issues within software/projects

  • Identify and track recurring issues, updating test plans and working with the QA Engineers to improve automation coverage to address recurring issues

  • Leverage business and product knowledge to aid and support QA Engineers in building automated test suites and product teams during the development process

  • Basic knowledge of at least one high-level programming language or technology

YOU ARE

  • Able to work with multiple teams while also working independently

  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data

  • Not afraid to dig deep to find resolutions to recurring issues

  • Able to quickly jump from project to project, switching gears multiple times throughout the day

  • Excellent at communicating issues discovered to all members of a project team

  • Able to communicate with technical and non-technical business and development team members
