Your challenge
- As a QA-engineer, you drive a culture of ‘first time right’ within the team, aiming for high-quality deliverables.
- You advocate for ‘shift left testing’ to enhance the QA approach across teams and the organization.
- By collaborating with the team, develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and issue reports, ensuring the overall release quality. This means you:
- You are responsible to design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- You take ownership of QA projects and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- You occasionally participate in customer test cycles, contributing to a collaborative international environment.
- To top it off, you contribute to the overall success of MEDIAGENIX by delivering value to customers through effective product testing and support.
Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities, providing valuable input on user stories and features.
Lead the creation of regression test sets and perform thorough regression testing.
Develop and implement testing processes to meet client needs, identifying opportunities for automation.
Our wish list
- You have a degree in Information Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- You have several years of experience in QA, with a proven track record in automation and manual software testing and test strategy creation.
- You're familiar with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- You have experience and knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks. You show willingness to contribute to test automation efforts and expand expertise in this area.
- Databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL are part of your expertise, as well as SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- To effectively interact with team members and stakeholders, good communication skills in English - both verbal and written - is required.
Next to that, we are looking for a colleague who demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices in QA. If you're also able to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, ànd you have strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, you might be the perfect fit!
