QA Specialist - Manila - Fintech

The working hours for this role will be European time. 

YOU ARE: 

• A great team player who loves sharing knowledge and learning from others

• Happy to work in a test-driven and Agile development fashion 

YOU HAVE:

• Significant experience in a QA role
• The ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs
• Experience with TDD/BDD and Test Automation
• Experience with at least one of the following: Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO.
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC and understand the QA role in it
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, feeling comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize QA process and enhance quality

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience testing applications for Financial institutions (investment banks, brokers, exchanges) particularly trading flows
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience of working with distributed teams
• Experience with FIX protocol.
• Experience with testing Java applications.

YOU WILL: 

• Propose, create and enhance project’s test strategy considering test automation approach
• Design, maintain and execute test cases and provide critical analysis on the results
• Build a solid understanding on business, technical and operational requirements
• Work with the team to define the quality assurance process
• Collaborate with other QAs and DEV team to enhance automated tests and get maximum test coverage
• Work with Dev and Devops teams to improve our test automation tools and solutions

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring, and that is not us 😉

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.
2- A zoom chat with one of our QA colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about QA knowledge and your experience
3- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). ​​During this interview, we will dig even deeper, and you will have a technical task to do.
4- An opportunity to meet with our Local Director and Head of Engineering either in our office or via zoom - so you can get to know each other.

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.
