What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead testing initiatives, conduct thorough analyses, and drive continuous improvement in product and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web-based client applications and firmware.
- Perform functional, regression, system, integration, performance, GUI, UAT, and configuration testing.
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, collaborating with the team to resolve issues.
- Conduct post-release and implementation testing to ensure consistent software performance.
- Create and manage test plans, quality metrics, and improvement reports.
- Lead quality planning and incorporate QA principles into specifications and test plans.
- Analyze quality data and implement solutions for process and cost improvements.
- Research and recommend new quality engineering practices.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, including leading major test projects.
- Proficiency in SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with tools like Postman, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, and Zephyr.
- Knowledge of scripting (Python, Perl, JScript) and networking basics (SNMP, Radius, IPv4/IPv6).
- Familiarity with power-related products (e.g., PDU, UPS) and concepts.
- Preferred certifications: ISTQB Functional Test Engineer (or ability to obtain within a year).
