In partnership with Overwatch EMEA, our client is building the infrastructure for Europe’s AI revolution, developing cutting-edge sovereign generative AI solutions powered by a new generation of high-performance, sustainable data centres and GPUs built specifically for AI workloads.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead all quality assurance and quality control activities across our client’s hyperscale data centre projects. You will be responsible for implementing and managing the project quality management system, ensuring all design, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities are delivered in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client expectations.

This owner-side role requires extensive experience in mission-critical construction environments where quality, reliability, and documentation are essential. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, commissioning teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all works are inspected, verified, documented, and handed over to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with client requirements and industry best practice.
  • Oversee all QA/QC activities across Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA), Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, BMS, and Commissioning disciplines.
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and inspection checklists.
  • Ensure all materials, equipment, and installations comply with approved specifications, standards, and project requirements.
  • Manage site inspections, witness testing, and quality surveillance activities throughout construction and commissioning phases.
  • Monitor and track non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure quality verification is completed prior to functional testing and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and turnover documentation to support project handover.
  • Conduct quality audits of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify compliance with project quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare regular quality reports for project leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, trends, and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project activities.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years’ experience in QA/QC management on large-scale construction, mission-critical, or data centre projects.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection methodologies, and construction quality processes.
  • Experience working with international standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant construction and commissioning standards.
  • Proven experience managing quality across multiple disciplines including CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, BMS, and Commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of inspection and testing requirements for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing NCRs, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and quality improvement programmes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in quality reporting systems, document control platforms, and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English; Norwegian would be advantageous.

What We Do

The fifth industrial revolution is here, and it runs on data centers and the skilled labor who build and sustain them. Behind every AI breakthrough, cloud platform, and digital connection is a data center, and behind every data center are the people who build, commission, and operate them. By bringing blue-collar jobs back to the front lines of innovation, Overwatch(SDVOSB) is proving that the future of technology depends on human expertise as much as it does on machines. Your mission-critical journey starts and scales with us. We deliver end-to-end solutions for the data center lifecycle, design, build, staffing, and sustainment, powered by a workforce you can trust.
