Summary :
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support product and process quality across incoming inspection, production, suppliers, and customer requirements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming, in-process, and production quality inspections
- Manage customer, third-party, and witness inspections
- Support supplier quality evaluations, testing, and audits
- Monitor quality KPIs and drive root cause corrective actions
- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and corrective action requests
- Prepare and coordinate quality documentation in line with QAP and customer requirements
- Maintain and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits, and customer audits
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including Lean and Six Sigma initiatives
- Provide guidance and support on quality-related matters across departments
- Support SHEA compliance and quality-related process improvements
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality engineering
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product flow, and process flow
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Understanding of supplier quality and audit processes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality system compliance
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Preferred
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
