- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for large infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Experience in desalination plants, water treatment plants (WTPs), wastewater treatment plants (STPs/ETPs), industrial facilities, marine infrastructure, or similar process engineering projects.
- Experience in implementing QA/QC systems during construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Experience in inspection and quality control of civil, mechanical, piping, structural, and electromechanical works.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, ASTM, ACI, BS, CPHEEO guidelines, project specifications, and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Construction Supervision Consultancy (CSC), or EPC projects will be preferred.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan in accordance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Review contractor Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Procedures, and Material Approval Requests.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements.
- Inspect civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works to verify workmanship and quality.
- Coordinate laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including concrete, steel, aggregates, soil, pipes, coatings, welding, and other project materials.
- Review inspection reports, material test certificates, calibration records, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
- Identify quality deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct quality audits and periodic inspections to ensure effective implementation of QA/QC procedures.
- Maintain quality records, inspection registers, testing reports, and project quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Site Inspectors, contractors, laboratories, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
- Support testing, commissioning, performance trials, snagging, and final project handover activities.
- Prepare periodic QA/QC reports highlighting quality performance, observations, risks, and recommendations.
