Position: QA/QC Administrator
Reports to: QA/QC Manager
Department: QA/QC
Status: Regular Full-Time; Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality control procedures for welding processes
- Collaborate with field QA/QC to ensure documents are accurate, timely and are in contractual compliance.
- Coordinate with 3rd party contractors to ensure clear operation at client sites
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of welding Quality Control activities and results
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as AWS (American Welding Society) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization)
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring that welding equipment is properly maintained and safety procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and sales to continuously improve the welding quality control process
- Assist in the development of Quality Control work flow procedures for current and prospective projects
- Screen, interview, and assess QC job applicants for competence, experience, and qualifications
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities
- Develop tools and documents to continuously improve interdepartmental communication and record keeping
- This is primarily a QA / QC focused position, however, this position is also intended to help all other teams as needed
Primary Skill Set:
- MS Office Suite, all programs
- Knowing Adobe Pro would be a plus
- Knowing Blue Beam would be a plus

Background and Experience:
- Strong interoffice computer skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
- Ability to effectively communicate with field personnel, management, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Agile to adapt quickly to changing requests.
