We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with over 3 years of experience in web testing, API testing, and desktop testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software testing life cycle and experience working in an Agile environment. Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and project management is essential. Proficiency in the German language will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development of testing strategies and best practices to enhance overall testing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on web, API, and desktop applications.
- Intermediate knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German.
