Deutsche Bank is renewing its workflow automation technology. DBFlow it’s a new platform aiming at simplifying business processes interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain.
The core of the platform is managing all platform business processes and provides core functionalities, libraries, indexing, data enhancement and user interaction to onboarded use cases. The goal is to have high availability and high-performance platform infrastructure with focus on fast business adoption with low downtimes. Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines.
The QA Manual Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall Workflow platform including analysis, development, and administration. Work includes plan and develop engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, build reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for testing activities on the project, ensure adherence to testing best practices, strategies and testing standards of the platform
- Maintain QA-related project documentation and timely, accurate and effective reporting of testing activities and defects
- Developing tests cases, test plans, test scripts, test data sets, or test procedures based on business requirements
- Provide input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes.
- Gather of testing requirements and syncing between IT and Business teams. Assist IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies.
- Identify areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implement new procedures, and assess risk of impact from changes to projects.
Skills
- Proven experience in testing (frontend, backend, microservices, API Testing with Postman or similar)
- Strong experience with test planning, test documentation, defect tracking, reporting tools (ALM, Jira, Allure or similar)
- Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Nice to have: Load and performance testing with JMeter or similar, Automation testing experience or willing to develop and learn
