Quality Assurance Manager
Duties:
- Establishes, operates, maintains and improves the quality management system.
- Assures quality is integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Responsible for publication and maintenance of the quality management system Quality Manual.
- Collects and analyzes objective quality evidence and produces necessary reports to demonstrate system goals and continuous improvement.
- Provides oversight of quality management system operations and maintains and operates the Internal Quality Audit Program.
- Manages correspondence with suppliers/vendors for all quality assurance issues or concerns.
- Ensures personnel are properly and regularly trained in process control techniques and inspections.
- As necessary, conducts quality control checks, quality control inspections and final product inspections.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements.
- Acts as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent RF Microwave industry work experience.
- Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications
- Experience assessing customer specifications, statements of work; etc.
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
- Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training;
- Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters;
- Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary;
- Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks;
- Writing technical and management systems reports;
- Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications;
- Establishing standards of service for customers
