We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to lead from the inside out. We believe the best leaders stay close to the craft, so you’ll be an accomplished technical tester who maintains a high level of mastery while growing and protecting our people.
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll:
- Lead by example. You’ll manage up to four individual contributors, coaching them through their professional development while staying active in testing, merging branches and developing tooling.
- Drive quality strategy. You’ll shift our focus from reactive to preventative, using your deep knowledge of system architecture and user behavior to identify risks before they ever become bugs.
- Represent the user. You’ll act as the voice of the customer within the engineering team, influencing the solution design and the priority of the defect backlog to ensure we build what users actually need.
- Scale your impact. You won’t just execute testing; you’ll coach others to lead large-scale, productive testing efforts across multiple squads and define what "Done" looks like for our most important projects.
This role requires four days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Mumbai.
Must-Haves- A proven leader. You have a track record of leading quality initiatives and complex projects, and you know how to advocate for your team’s career growth.
- Technical expertise. You have four or more years of software testing experience with a focus on full-stack testing and automation.
- The "Coach" mindset. You’re an expert at identifying the strengths of your team members and knowing how to direct those skills to help them level up.
- A skilled investigator. You understand the root cause of problems, backing up your investigations with data and measuring the results of your fixes.
- Agile fluency. You’re comfortable leading quality discussions in sprint ceremonies and can clearly communicate defect impacts to stakeholders
- Relevant degree. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Process innovator. You have experience implementing new tools and processes that elevate quality standards and streamline the development lifecycle.
- Champion work-life harmony. We'll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., national and public holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you'll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We're lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We'll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. We'll also provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Cover your medical insurance. Comprehensive medical insurance for employees, with partial reimbursement available for dependent coverage.
- Retiral benefits. We offer a Provident Fund and Gratuity.
