ABOUT THE POSITION

Linxup is searching for an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with a strong background in driving shift-left QA practices, modern test automation, and collaborative cross-functional quality processes. This leader will elevate our engineering culture by embedding quality early in the SDLC, accelerating feedback loops, and ensuring our products exceed customer expectations for reliability and performance. As the QA Manager, you'll build and mentor a high-performing QA organization, partner closely with engineering and product teams, and champion the tools, processes, and mindset necessary to deliver quality at speed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and oversee the entire QA process across multiple applications and platforms
  • Establish and drive adoption of quality standards and processes integrated throughout the entire development life cycle ("shift-left")
  • Supervise and mentor a team of QA testers, offering guidance, training, and support to drive their efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee development of comprehensive test plans for both new projects and regression testing
  • Identify appropriate tooling and frameworks to support all testing efforts
  • Champion product quality across the entire Engineering department
  • Define and report on quality metrics to identify areas for improvement, working with DevOps to gather data as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to develop and maintain automation suites for API, UI, and performance testing
  • Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with 2+ years in a leadership/management role
  • Proven success implementing and maturing "Shift-Left" QA practices, embedding quality activities early in the SDLC
  • Deep expertise in modern testing methodologies, including test automation (UI, API, performance), exploratory testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman)
  • Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, cycle time)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing QA team
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
