Ghost Story Games is a self-publishing game development studio founded by Ken Levine (Creative Director of System Shock 2, Bioshock, and Bioshock Infinite) and former Irrational Games developers. The studio’s mission is to create narrative-driven experiences rooted in immersive world building and gameplay.
The Challenge
Ghost Story Games is seeking a talented QA Manager to join us on Judas, the highly anticipated game led by Ken Levine (System Shock 2, BioShock series). - Champion and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Oversee bug tracking, test case management (e.g., Hansoft, TestRail), build processes, and playtest coordination, providing clear quality reporting.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate QA throughout the lifecycle and promote Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Direct all major testing efforts, including functional, performance, stability, compliance, and localization.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of QA experience in the game industry, with proven leadership in a management role.
- Successfully shipped multiple game titles (PC/console preferred).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of Analytics and how to apply them to test coverage planning.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Great to Have
- Shipped two or more AAA titles in a QA leadership capacity.
