Position – Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Miami, FL

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support aviation component maintenance operations within an FAA and EASA approved Part 145 repair station environment. This role is ideal for an experienced aviation quality leader with an extensive background managing quality systems, regulatory compliance, and repair station quality operations.

Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities and ensuring continued compliance with FAA, EASA, and applicable repair station requirements. This position provides leadership and oversight of the quality management system, regulatory compliance, audits, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives within a component maintenance environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the repair station Quality Assurance program
  • Ensure continued compliance with FAA and EASA Part 145 requirements
  • Maintain and support the repair station quality management system
  • Monitor compliance with applicable regulations, company procedures, and approved manuals
  • Conduct and oversee internal audits, quality reviews, and compliance assessments
  • Identify quality and regulatory discrepancies and lead corrective action activities
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective resolution
  • Support FAA, EASA, customer, and third-party audits
  • Maintain quality documentation, records, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Review and support revisions to quality manuals and repair station procedures
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and leadership teams regarding quality and compliance matters
  • Provide guidance and leadership to quality personnel
  • Promote continuous improvement and a strong culture of regulatory compliance
  • Ensure component maintenance activities meet applicable quality and airworthiness standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional aviation quality, technical, or management education preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically as a Quality Assurance Manager required
  • Extensive prior QA Manager experience within an FAA and EASA certified Part 145 repair station required
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
  • Strong knowledge of FAA and EASA regulatory requirements required
  • Aviation MRO or component repair station quality experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

  • Extensive knowledge of FAA and EASA Part 145 repair station requirements
  • Strong experience managing aviation quality assurance programs and quality management systems
  • Experience supporting FAA, EASA, customer, and third-party audits
  • Strong knowledge of corrective and preventive action processes
  • Ability to interpret and apply aviation regulations, quality manuals, and technical procedures
  • Experience maintaining and revising repair station quality documentation
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with regulatory authorities and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced aviation MRO environment

Skills Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Manager
  • Extensive prior QA Manager experience within an FAA and EASA certified Part 145 repair station
