Are you our new Senior QA?
You will be responsible for development and maintenance of D&A data lake platform located in MS Azure, driving QA area to ensure new platform alignment to the requirements, quality, stability and platform performance.
Location: Riga
What will you do:
- You will be responsible for ensuring quality and accuracy of the product.
- Analyze product requirements, develop and maintain tests including reusable test scripts.
- Work with business and operations to ensure proper quality of the complete end-to-end solution.
- Work with others QA specialists to develop effective quality assurance strategies and test plans.
- Work with other QAs to ensure that proper QA practices are in place.
- Understand how users use the product in order to develop test cases, test automation and be able to train other team members in end-to-end product's functionality.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years' experience
- Very good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in testing data platforms, ETLs, etc. related
- Automation competency in Java
- Integrations/Backend
- basic experience with UI test tools, like Selenium
- RestAPI
- Experience in work with SQL
- BDD approaches and tools (Gherkin/Cucumber)
- Ability to work in team
- Experience with CI/CD tools Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Fluent level in English
It’s a plus if you bring:
- Experience with public clouds (Azure)
- Knowledge of and experience in non-functional testing
- Knowledge of data lake concepts
- Azure Kubernetes Services
- Databricks
- Apache Airflow
- Deep SQL knowledge
- ISTQB certificate
