What this Job Entails:
A Software QA Engineer is responsible for the development of internal QA strategies for automated UI and load testing, regression and smoke testing, and manual UX testing. They are also responsible for executing tests and collecting results to identify and report defects to the product engineering teams and will confirm that defects have been fixed before software is released. They will also be responsible for analyzing, reproducing, and logging customer-reported defects.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

Execute, report and refine quality test plans and test cases per the organizational quality objectives

Understand the domain product vision and roadmap
-
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Utilize innovative test technologies to develop a product's testing strategy
-
Participate in design and code inspections.

Perform functional testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionality of services to as a prequel to automation

Review and development of test documentation

Required Qualifications/Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Builds stable working relationships internally

Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data

Understanding of various development programs

Ability to quickly learn customer support processes, tools and techniques

Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)

Ability to collaborate and work remotely including use of communication tools

Understanding of using monitoring systems

Familiarity with system administration
