Make an impact as a QA Lead as part of the MNP Labs team. Here you will design, build, and maintain modern web applications end to end, working fluidly across front-end and back-end. Responsibilities:

• Establish the quality engineering function for MNP Labs from the ground up

• Define the QA standards, processes, and test strategies used across our product portfolio

• You are open to building on it or taking a greenfield approach to select the right tools and frameworks for the team

• Establish quality practices that scale as the product portfolio and team grow

• Design and write automated tests, regression suites, and manual test cases for our products

• Establish performance testing practices as part of the quality strategy

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and establish API validation and assurance

• Partner with engineering on API and integration testing, owning ongoing validation and ensuring testing is complete, reproducible, and supports the services and third-party integrations our products depend on

• Accessibility testing (e.g., WCAG) is a nice-to-have and a welcome addition to your skill set

• Own test automation within our Azure DevOps pipelines, partnering with engineering on integration and defining the right quality gates as the function matures

• Select and stand-up supporting tooling (test management, API testing, reporting) as part of building the function

• Grow into a team lead, hiring and mentoring QA engineers as the function matures

• Partner with engineers, product owners, and the Engineering Manager to build quality in from the start rather than testing it in at the end.

• Strong grasp of automated, regression, manual, and performance testing approaches

• A clear communicator comfortable working across time zones with a globally-distributed team

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Equivalent practical experience will also be considered 5+ years in QA / quality engineering, including hands-on test automation experience

Experience

• Experience with Jest, Playwright or comparable modern automation frameworks

• Experience with API and integration testing

• Familiarity with CI/CD and pipeline integration; Azure DevOps experience is an asset

• Experience defining QA standards or processes from scratch is highly valued

• Experience with real device testing across mobile and desktop, including cloud device platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs), is an asset

Skills Required

5+ years of experience in QA or quality engineering, including hands-on test automation
Strong understanding of automated, regression, manual, and performance testing approaches
Experience with Jest, Playwright, or comparable modern automation frameworks
Experience with API and integration testing
Clear communication skills and ability to work across time zones with globally distributed teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with CI/CD and pipeline integration
Azure DevOps experience
