Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both manual and automation testing methodologies and a proven track record of leading QA efforts across multiple projects. The QA Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team
Responsibilities
Top 5 Manual Testing Responsibilities
Manual Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Document test results and defects in detail, and track their resolution through to completion.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide feedback and ensure testability of features. Mentor and provide guidance to QA team members on manual testing best practices and methodologies.
Top 5 Automation Testing Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Implement and maintain a robust automation infrastructure to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality across different environments and configurations. Analyze test results and identify opportunities for test optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process and ensure timely execution.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and enhance test automation capabilities.
Other Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.

Act as a subject matter expert on QA processes, tools, and methodologies, and provide guidance to project teams as needed.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, including process enhancements and tool evaluations.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on QA status, issues, and risks.

Foster a culture of quality within the organization by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Qualifications

Professional experience in testing web-based applications.

Experience in cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility, or Mobile testing.

Should have strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.

Detailed bug reporting.

Must be proactive and have thrived in a customer facing environment.
Additional Desired Qualifications:

We require at least three years of software quality assurance experience.

Experience or Knowledge of web services technology, such as SOAP and REST.

Experience working with JIRA.

Must be able to write and maintain test cases and test scripts.

Ability to work well with QA and developers.

Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Take ownership tasks and driver for completion.

Advanced English Skills.

Experience with offshore teams is a plus.

Experience with automation is a plus.
