QA Lead | Chennai/Bangalore

We are seeking a seasoned QA Lead to oversee and drive both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in performance testing using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter, as well as security testing practices. As a QA Lead, you will lead the QA team, define test strategies, and work cross-functionally to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead and manage the QA team across manual, automation, and non-functional testing 

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts 

Coordinate and execute manual testing for functional, regression, and exploratory test cases 

Plan and perform performance testing using LoadRunner, JMeter, or equivalent tools 

Oversee or execute security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance 

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines 

Ensure test coverage, traceability, and alignment with business requirements 

Track and report testing progress, defect metrics, and quality KPIs 

Define and implement best practices for testing processes, documentation, and tools 

Mentor junior QA engineers and participate in resource planning 

Required Qualifications: 

Strong experience in both manual and automation testing in web/mobile environments 

Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, or similar 

Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner 

Knowledge of security testing principles and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) 

Experience in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking (e.g., Jira) 

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines 

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills 

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
