Ruan is now hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern for Summer 2026.
This is a full-time position that will work a mix of on-site at our downtown Des Moines campus and remote.
The QA Intern will work as part of the Quality Assurance team assisting a standing development team within Ruan Technology. Role will involve a mixture of manually testing system enhancements as well as writing and executing automated regression testing using Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Classroom or hands-on experience using the Microsoft stack with knowledge in C#, SQL Server and ASP.Net/.Net Core/.Net 6+, Selenium and a working knowledge of Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and best practices is preferred.
- Critical thinking and creativity are a must. Ability to quickly devise a plan to fully test a solution for both success and failure to ensure issues are caught before deploying changes to the production environment are required.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

- Fully support financial business case analysis 25%
- Participate in major cost and process improvement initiatives and projects, and provide technical support in managing the business unit's financial performance. 20%
