As the QA - Frontend Tester on this project, you will lead comprehensive testing efforts for a sophisticated health assessment web application (tablet based), focusing on frontend user experience validation and seamless service integration testing.
This role requires expertise in testing complex user journeys, real-time data flows, and API integrations while ensuring pixel-perfect UI implementation and optimal performance across tablet devices. You will validate that the entire user experience works flawlessly from onboarding through test completion and results delivery, with particular attention to responsive design, touch interactions, and data synchronization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading comprehensive frontend testing for tablet-optimized web applications with focus on responsive design and touch interactions
- Validating complex multi-step user journeys including onboarding flows, health questionnaires, and test completion workflows
- Testing real-time data synchronization and WebSocket/SSE functionality for live status updates and notifications
- Performing thorough API integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend services
- Validating user interface accuracy against design specifications with pixel-perfect precision
- Testing interactive visualizations, 3D components, and dashboard functionality across different tablet devices
- Conducting cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for various tablet form factors
- Performing comprehensive form validation testing for complex multi-step data collection processes
- Testing error handling scenarios, network interruptions, and graceful degradation functionality
- Validating user session management, unique ID attribution, and data correlation accuracy
- Conducting performance testing to ensure optimal loading times and smooth user interactions
- Collaborating with development teams to identify, document, and resolve frontend and integration issues
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, test cases, and automated testing strategies
Must-Have:
- At least 4+ years of experience in QA testing with strong emphasis on frontend and web application testing
- Proven experience testing tablet-optimized and mobile-responsive web applications with excellent UX validation skills
- Strong background in API testing, service integration validation, and real-time data flow testing
- Experience testing complex user workflows, multi-step forms, and interactive web applications
- Experience with healthcare, fitness, or data-sensitive applications requiring security and compliance testing (nice to have)
- Demonstrated expertise in cross-browser, cross-device compatibility testing and responsive design validation
- Strong understanding of frontend performance testing and user experience optimization validation
- Experience with real-time testing scenarios including WebSocket connections and live data updates
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with rapid testing cycles
- Experience using AI-powered testing tools and automated testing frameworks for accelerated QA workflows

- Frontend Testing: React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress, Playwright for comprehensive UI testing
- API Testing: Postman, Insomnia, automated API testing frameworks, REST API validation
- Cross-Browser Testing: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cross-device testing platforms
- Performance Testing: Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Core Web Vitals measurement and validation
- Real-time Testing: WebSocket testing tools, Server-Sent Events validation, connection stability testing
- Mobile/Responsive Testing: Device emulation, touch interaction testing, responsive breakpoint validation
- Form Testing: Complex form validation, multi-step flow testing, data persistence validation
- Development Tools: Git, CI/CD pipeline testing (Vercel), automated testing integration
- Documentation: Test case management, bug reporting, comprehensive testing documentation

- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG compliance) and inclusive design validation
- Background in automated testing framework development and maintenance
- Experience with load testing and scalability validation for web applications
- Understanding of healthcare data compliance testing (HIPAA, privacy regulations)

- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and continuous integration testing
