ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be involved across the full quality lifecycle – from hands-on testing to building and maintaining automation frameworks – working closely with developers and product teams every step of the way. You'll also help us make smart use of AI-assisted testing.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Java, Cucumber, Selenide, and RestAssured.
- Integrate and manage tests in our GitLab CI pipelines for fast, reliable feedback.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
- Use AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot to support test generation and code review.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tooling in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Manage test plans and coverage in TestRail.
- Run and triage regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory tests across environments.
- Define test strategies and acceptance criteria together with developers and product managers.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU
- 3–5 years of hands-on QA experience with a strong automation focus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in Java, Selenide/Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured, as well as experience with SQL.
- Familiar with using AI coding assistants and able to critically evaluate their output.
- Comfortable with GitLab CI, Git, Jira, and TestRail.
- Good grasp of test design techniques: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and performance.
- Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal.
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and cares about doing things right.
- Background in SaaS or cloud-based products is a plus. ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have.
