Role Overview
We are looking for a highly technical QA Engineer with strong programming skills and a deep understanding of testing lifecycle and quality processes. You will join the team responsible for ensuring product quality across the software development lifecycle by collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing quality practices, and driving continuous improvement.
This role requires you to work as an individual contributor who will analyze requirements, design effective test cases, prepare test plans, perform customer bug analysis, and collaborate with developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams.
- Validate cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to test strategy, automation improvements, and quality initiatives.
- Participate in AI feature validation and quality assessment where applicable.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, SDLC, and Agile processes.
- We are looking for candidates with 4-7 years of experience with the following skill set:
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Python.
- Strong experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.
- Experience testing REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and LLM-based applications as part of day-to-day QA workflows
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
