QA Engineer

Position Location:

Serbia – remote within the country

Reports To: Engineering Manager

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. You should be comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and communicating issues clearly and effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you bring:

· Experience in API testing

· Knowledge of testing methodologies and databases

· Familiarity with bug/issue tracking tools

· Understanding of the software development lifecycle and all phases of the QA process

· Excellent Serbian and English communication skills

· A positive, helpful mindset and strong team player attitude

· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly

Additional skills (not required):

· Experience in automation testing

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

· Review quality specifications and technical design documentation, providing timely, meaningful feedback and proposing solutions to identified product issues

· Collaborate with fellow QA Engineers to define and implement effective test strategies and test plans

· Execute manual and/or automated test cases and analyze results to ensure product quality

· Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle

· Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

· Contribute to task estimation and planning in cooperation with the Engineering Manager

· Design, develop, and implement automated tests using open-source tools

· Identify, document, track, and report defects across all stages of development and supported platforms

· Perform thorough regression testing on fixed and newly implemented functionalities

· Work both independently and collaboratively to continuously improve skills, adopt new technologies, and enhance testing efficiency
