About the role
In this role as a QA Engineer, you will be handling customer complaints, ensuring that a structured approach is deployed to find the root cause and act as an interface to communicate with the different stakeholders outside of the factory. You are also responsible for maintaining and improving the quality standards of semiconductor products throughout the manufacturing process.
What You Will Do
Coordinate with cross functional team to ensure 8D/3 x 5 WHY are prepared in quality and timely manner.
Provide timely response and feedback to customer complaint-related requests and questions.
Monitor and manage process OCAPs (Out-of-Control Action Plans) and lot-on-hold dispositions. Ensure timely scoping, quarantine of affected equipment, and containment of at-risk lots in in-process, outgoing, and inventory-with-hold (IWH) stages.
Recall / hold/ release material based on risk assessment aligned with factory and obtain BG approval (if needed).
Monitor and analyze in-line quality metrics, defect trends.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including Control Plans, Quality Alerts, and Inspection Standards.
Track and follow up on the implementation of 8D & LOH (Lot on Hold ) corrective action & validate the effectiveness
Perform QA audit to ensure compliance
Support internal and external audits, including compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
Support continuous improvement activities and systemic corrective actions across the organization.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Process or Quality Engineering in semiconductor manufacturing.
Proficient in Problem-Solving Methodologies and Core Quality Tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Has experience in IATF 16949 audit & ESD knowledge will be added advantage.
