QA Engineer

fusionSpan is a fast-growing US based multinational information technology services company, and we are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join the team.
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with proven expertise in test automation for web, mobile, and API services.
This is a long term contract role and can be an hourly or monthly fixed-price contract. You will be working remotely with US based team members and clients. We would want some flexibility with hours, so a typical day would end at 7pm local time.
About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong experience in test automation for web, mobile, and API services. You will design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our applications.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Build and maintain mobile test suites with Appium for iOS and Android platforms.
• Perform API testing and automation using Postman and REST Assured.
• Conduct load, stress, and performance testing with JMeter and k6.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage across all layers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for regression and release cycles.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in QA automation or software testing.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following automation tools: Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium.
• Strong background in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
• Proficiency in performance/load testing with JMeter or k6.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Strong scripting or programming skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
