Job DescriptionFor the Mondial Relay Supply Chain domain, we are seeking a QA Engineer to oversee the testing scope of the two teams that belong to the domain. Those 2 teams are in charge of development and maintenance of each software involved in tracking event collection and integration, parcel status update and manifest, and all logistic applications used to sort, track and ship parcels over 50 depots and hubs through all Mondial Relay market (France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherland and Luxembourg).
Technical stack: Java Spring Boot, kotlin, Vue.js, Android, GCP, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis, gitlab CI, Datadog, Dynatrace
As a pivotal member of our team, you'll take on the challenge of:
- Put in place automation frameworks.
- Defining a test strategy for a large set of applications, covering different countries in the Supply Chain area.
- Be responsible for automation of components, integration and e2e tests.
- Collaborating with engineering teams and product managers.
- Designing and executing end-to-end manual and automated tests for front-end and back-end interfaces, covering all supply chain flow across the domain.
- Generating and managing test data to facilitate software testing.
- Tracking and reporting defects, providing clear and actionable insights to our development team.
- Preparing detailed test execution reports to share successes and areas for improvement.
- Experience in test automation in the Java area and CI integration.
- Proficiency in test automation of APIs and GUI testing, familiarity with Postman/any other REST client.
- Experience with testing distributed systems based on message queue communication (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Practical knowledge of the Bug Life Cycle.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elastic)
- Familiarity with test automation based on BDD in Java (Cucumber).
- Good teamwork, communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken & written).
- Docker and Linux/Unix experience is a plus.
- Mobile app testing is a plus.
