Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards before release.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications
- Perform functional, regression, integration and security testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or others
- Assist in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing processes
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in software testing or QA
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Hands-on knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, VSTS)
- Basic understanding of test automation tools and scripting (Cypress/Selenium, Java/Python preferred)
- Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Perform backend data validation using SQL queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
- ISTQB certification is a plus
