Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Remote//Contract W2
Duration: Long Term
Job Description:
- Coordinates all aspects of testing activities and owning the quality of projects.
- Develop test plans and test cases ensuring appropriate test coverage that will identify problems with software applications.
- Execute functional / regression test cases contained in test plans and ensure communication of test results to leadership and appropriate development teams.
- Manage and maintain all test scripts and execution using TestRail.
- Develop and maintain modular, re-usable automated User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) test scripts for wide range of applications using Katalon Studio, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Soap UI, Rest Assured, Java, and Groovy Script.
- Develop Groovy/Java Scripts in SOAP UI to automate SOAP and JSON web services.
- Write SQL scripts to set up and validate test data on Oracle environments to ensure data accuracy and data integrity.
- Validate XML and JSON contents against database and flat files.
- Proactively contributes, offers recommendations, and identifies risks and solutions associated with proposed or existing software applications strategies.
- Work across teams to resolve technical issues that are encountered during testing
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience
- 7+ years' experience as an IT analyst, with multiple application platforms and solutions knowledge
- 7+ years' experience planning, creating, and executing test case automation.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and automation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to accept ownership and to take initiative.
- Is flexible and able to work within the system; able and willing to take on and learn additional and different responsibilities.
- Pursues alternate paths as appropriate to break through obstacles.
- Able to build a productive, collaborative and reciprocal working relationship with business and technical partners.
