About the role
Our SAAS platform is seen as one of the best in the DAM industry and we attribute a big part of our success to the talented and hardworking engineers we have in our tech teams. We are becoming one of the fastest-growing scale-ups of The Netherlands and have big plans and the ambition to be the fastest-growing scale-up in the world. This is why we are looking for a QA Engineer who would like to grow with us!
Each QA Engineer is a member of a squad together with the Product Manager, Agile Lead, Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineer, and DevOps Engineer.
The squads are responsible for continuously delivering value to our customers and maximizing the quality of the Bynder products.
The QA Engineer ensures that all aspects of our Bynder products have been verified and validated before the product may be released by
- integrating quality into our product using test automation to get quick feedback on the impact of new features
- deploying new product features on the shortest cycles possible
What you will do
- Responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing effective test automation solutions.
- Able to work on QA initiatives to improve existing test automation infrastructure, architecture, and framework setup focussed on continuous testing & continuous delivery.
- Review product backlog and understand the roadmap to determine QA priority and provide feedback.
- Write test plans for new features that outline potential critical defects and include automation and manual test considerations.
- Work with other teams to troubleshoot/determine resolution for complex issues across team domains.
- Routinely generate and communicate QA test status reports and monitor automation coverage, defect leakage, and code quality.
- Inspire other QA engineers and team members with creativity, knowledge sharing, blogs, and webinars.
- Aware of the latest QA technologies and tools and helped implement the QA best practices.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and on the fly.
- Ability to constructively criticize the work of yourself and others.
- Strong drive for quality, automated testing, and other QA best practices and you actively coach other team members in this area.
- In-depth and proven work experience (>5 years) in test automation solutions (Cypress, Selenium) and performance test solutions (K6, Locust, Jmeter).
- Experience with productivity tools and workflow models such as Jira/X-Ray, Scrum/Kanban, and Confluence.
