Team Description:
At Sabre, we're passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing product
  • Designs, plans, develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques
  • Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality
  • Regularly interacts with subordinate supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
  • Provides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams
  • Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologies
  • 4 to 6 years SDET experience.
  • Experience working with global teams and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures based on business requirements
  • Perform functional and regression testing of application and interfaces, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and adhere to product quality standards
  • Solid with test automation background - design, code and execute using (Eclipse / .Net / C#-Selenium/ Java/ PHP/ Cucumber) automation tool 
  • Design, build and maintain reliable automation scripts for complex applications spanning desktop, web, Mobile, backend, platform, API gateways. 
  • Continuously improve test case coverage by covering (E2E, Regression, Negative and Exploratory Test cases) for all features and application functionality.
  • Create accurate and detailed defect reports when issues are identified. 
  • Work with internal and external customers to understand business processes, troubleshoot issues, analyze, and write detailed defects, and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and document internal and external processes and workflows where needed. 
  • Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Management tools like Rally, JIRA.
  • Solid experience testing with desktop, web and API-based applications
  • Proven interpersonal, analytical, attention to detail, strategy, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written in documentations and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and software testing methodology, particularly in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge on Cloud technologies, preferably GCP.

Nice to have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or related methodology
  • Database knowledge
  • Previous hospitality or travel industry experience preferred but not required.
