The Globalize group is supporting the company developing several tools and integration between the global systems (Service hub, Salesforce, Workday, etc.). You will be responsible for ensuring that the software created by the developers is fit for purpose and any bug is removed within the software before it gets deployed to everyday user. You will also be responsible for support the end-users through the Jira Service Desk platform, providing help, documentation and escalating the issues to the Development Team.
- Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases to cover various scenarios and ensure thorough testing of our software.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and using automation tools to identify defects and verify their resolution.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting: Track and report defects using a bug tracking system, providing detailed information and reproducing steps.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of our applications.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not introduce unintended side effects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- 5+ years of work experience in QA.
- Experience designing and managing test cases
- Comfortable with structured testing methodology (Agile)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira ServiceDesk)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with various testing types (e.g., functional, non-functional, integration, system).
- Proficiency in using testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and isolate defects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
