Key Responsibilities:
1. Manual Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for manual testing based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly all test issues and bugs.
- Responsible for plan, develop and execute automation scenarios for web and mobile
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and create test plans.
2. Automation Testing:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and ensure scripts are optimized for performance.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Collaborate with DevOps for test environment setup and maintenance.
3. Reporting and Documentation:
- Track and report on testing activities, including test results, log defects, and track them to resolution.
- Document testing processes, test cases, and automation scripts to maintain a robust testing knowledge base.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and provide testing updates.
Qualifications:
- Overall 3-5 years of experience in software testing (Manual & Automation).
- Minimum 2 years experience in Selenium/Appium Based automation of Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications.
- Very good in Core Java concepts and Python scripting.
- Strong knowledge in QA process and Methodologies.
- Strong work experience in API testing, Manual Testing and Test data management.
- Delivering projects independently.
- Exposure to at least one reporting tool is required.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good written and oral business communication and presentation skills required.
- Basic SQL knowledge is required and should be able to write simple queries to fetch test data.
- Experience in one test management and one defect management tool is required.
- Should be aware of STLC and testing processes.
- Hands-on experience in Agile projects.
- Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills, exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
