Job Purpose
As a QA Engineer specializing in functional UI and API testing within the warehouse logistics domain, you will be responsible for verifying the reliability and accuracy of systems that support inventory management, order processing, delivery tracking, and other core logistics operations. You will design and execute detailed test scenarios to ensure that applications meet both business and technical requirements. Your work will be important for ensuring the stable operation of these systems by identifying defects in a timely manner and maintaining software quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases and test plans for UI and API components within logistics-related processes (inventory control, order handling, delivery tracking, etc.).
- Validate application functionality against business requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform manual functional testing of user interfaces and APIs.
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Conduct regression testing and testing of new functionalities.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects; assist in reproducing and localizing issues.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Qualifications (Essential)
- Higher education in Information Technology or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of testing methods and test design; experience developing and working with test plans.
- Proficient in tools such as Postman, Swagger, TestRail/Xray, Jira.
- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
- Experience working with SQL and basic Linux commands.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher (written and spoken).
- Fluency in Russian.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Knowledge of network protocols: HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, TCP/IP, DNS.
- Experience analyzing logs and diagnosing issues.
- Ukrainian language proficiency.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Experience building test documentation from scratch.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant commercial experience in manual quality assurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Solid skills in test planning, test design and time management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
