SPOTIO is a dynamic, fast-growing American start-up with a 10-year tradition of creating the #1 Sales Engagement Platform. SPOTIO's platform helps field sales teams manage sales activities, increase the productivity of sales representatives and record field sales insights.
We have offices in Dallas, Texas and Gdańsk. In Gdańsk, there is a development, product and QA team totalling 21 people (50 people in total globally).
How do we work?
There's no corporate vibe or dress code here. Instead, there's a friendly, collaborative atmosphere and small teams. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we meet in the office in Gdańsk - because we want to. On other days, we work remotely because we can.
We have calls with the Dallas team several times a week, typically only during overlapping working hours of 2:00pm to 5:00pm Polish time. There is also an opportunity for travel to Dallas, however this is not required.
Requirements
We’re looking for a manual QA Engineer to join our development team and temporarily cover for a colleague (approx. 1 year).
During this period, you will be responsible for manual testing of our web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) following Kanban flow principles.
After the replacement period, the role will evolve into a QA Automation Engineer position focused on building and maintaining mobile test automation.
This is a great opportunity for a QA specialist who enjoys hands-on testing, values product quality and wants to develop strong automation skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in testing applications in a commercial project.
- Experience in mobile test automation (e.g. Appium & Browser Stack).
- Knowledge in web test automation (e.g. Selenium, Playwright).
- Experience in conducting integration, functional, acceptance and regression tests.
- Experience in bug management.
- Knowledge of AI tools helpful in automated and manual testing.
- Experience in direct cooperation with a team of programmers in the area of reported errors.
- Unconventional thinking and creativity in coming up with new test cases.
- Independence and good organization of own work.
- High communication skills.
- Ability to think logically and learn quickly.
- Ability to solve problems.
- English and Polish speaking - must have.
Manual Testing - during replacement period (approx. 1 year)
- Performing manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) in accordance with Kanban flow principles.
- Executing regression, smoke and exploratory tests.
- Conducting integration tests between the web and mobile applications.
- Performing UI/UX testing to ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility.
- Reporting and retesting defects using Jira.
- Supporting developers in reproducing and analyzing defects.
- Actively participating in daily Kanban stand-ups and team syncs.
Automation Development - in parallel (approx. 10% of work time) and after replacement (100%):
- Identifying test automation scenarios for mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Creating and maintaining automated smoke and regression test suites.
- Integrating automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborating with developers to add test identifiers and improve build stability.
