Start by building robust manual test coverage, gaining deep knowledge of our systems, and establishing quality standards. Over time, you will identify the highest-value automation opportunities and progressively build out a sustainable test automation framework.
Your Responsibilities

- Develop test strategies for critical workflows such as order processing, stock synchronization, payment flows, and third-party integrations.
- Own release readiness assessments and perform regression testing for app and backend deployments.
- Collaborate closely with developers and the Technical Product Owner to define acceptance criteria and quality gates.
- Identify high-value automation opportunities based on risk, frequency, and feature stability.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for the mobile app using Jest and Detox.
- Extend automation coverage across integration services using Jest and Jasmine.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, more reliable releases.
- Establish testing patterns and best practices that can be adopted by other engineers.
- Monitor and report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics; participate in incident reviews, contribute to post-mortem improvements, and continuously evaluate new testing tools and practices.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript test frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Detox, or similar).
- Experience testing mobile applications (ideally React Native) and backend/API services.
