Job DescriptionWe are looking for enthusiastic and motivated QA Engineer Interns who are passionate about software quality and eager to build a career in Software Testing. As a QA Intern, you will work alongside experienced QA professionals and gain hands-on experience in manual and automation testing while working on real-world web and mobile applications.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn industry best practices, modern testing tools, and Agile development methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manual Testing
- Understand business and functional requirements.
- Design and execute manual test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
- Verify bug fixes and support release validation.
Automation Testing
- Learn and assist in developing automation scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Execute automation test suites and analyze test results.
- Assist in maintaining automation frameworks.
- Support web and mobile application testing.
Collaboration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
- Prepare test reports and document testing activities.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Open to recent graduates.
- Candidates who have completed relevant projects, internships, or certifications — especially any that used AI tools — are strongly encouraged to apply
- Good academic record.
- Strong interest in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Familiarity with Selenium is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Git, or Postman is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
