Job Description:
- Understand business requirements, system workflows, and project scope to ensure effective test coverage.
- Design, create, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for web applications.
- Perform end-to-end manual testing for both frontend and backend functionalities.
- Validate APIs, database records, business rules, and system integrations.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts and test frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Analyze quality risks and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders and project teams.
- Prepare testing artifacts including test plans, test reports, and test execution summaries.
- Collaborate closely with QA, BA, Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to deliver high-quality products.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong experience in web application testing.
- Solid experience in manual testing, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience in frontend and backend testing, including API validation and database verification.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Java, Playwright, Rest API, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of test case design techniques, defect management, and software testing methodologies.
- Ability to create complex test scenarios, prepare test data, and perform end-to-end testing.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC/STLC).
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Postman, SQL, and Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, web application testing.
- Hands-on manual testing experience (functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, UAT).
- Frontend and backend testing experience including API validation and database verification (SQL).
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (Java, Playwright, REST API automation or similar).
- Experience using JIRA for issue tracking and Postman for API testing.
- Experience with Git (version control).
- Strong knowledge of test case design techniques, defect management, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
- Ability to create complex test scenarios, prepare test data, and perform end-to-end testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
