The Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our Communications and Notifications team. Our mission is to deliver smart, personalized, and timely communications that reach users on their preferred channels. This platform supports the entire Workhuman product suite, requiring close collaboration with our architecture team and the broader engineering organization.
This is an exciting time to join us as we expand our focus and take on high-visibility, strategic initiatives. We seek an Automation QA Engineer eager to bring their expertise to enhance our automation processes. You'll have the autonomy to grow our automation pipeline with the full support of a talented, collaborative team.
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will

  • Work with a distributed development team and contribute to the Agile ceremonies continuously delivering solutions that will enhance our SaaS platform capability.
  • Collaborate openly with the team on shared items of work and communicate well in a team-oriented environment across locations, sharing your knowledge.
  • Closely work with our developers to review test coverage to ensure QA goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing functionality.
  • Define the best approach and scope of automated feature validation.
  • Review automation test coverage to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Will perform end-to-end testing for data pipeline and data accuracy.
  • Integrate tests into our existing CI/CD pipeline, monitor the process and metrics.
  • Debug test failures using server logs and database queries.
  • Communicate test results, metrics, and risk assessments to the project stakeholders.


Tech Stack:
Technical Stack: AWS, SoapUI, RESTful, webservices, Oracle, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Browser Stack.
Languages: Python/Pytest, Selenium, Java and SQL
Software: IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate and version Control System: GitLab
The skills you will bring:

  • Strong Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL, AWS services like Data Pipelines, Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, or similar technologies and Cloud technologies is an advantage.
  • Proven experience with software QA methods, tools, and processes, including diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues.
  • Experience with git or other version control tools.
  • Experience with backend testing, automated unit, and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
