What You’ll Do

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing the overall quality, safety, and reliability to ensure product compliance with applicable statutory regulations, and internal and retailers’ requirements.
You will also be responsible for developing product and testing specifications and coordinating compliance testing and production activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

How you will contribute:

  • Review new product designs to ensure product compliance concerning regulatory and retailer requirements
  • Conduct new product risk assessments to mitigate product failures
  • Establish and maintain product specification and testing protocols with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Coordinate testing submission and activities with 3rd party testing laboratories
  • Review product and packaging markings, warnings, and claims
  • Performs internal tests and delivers test reports to internal stakeholders and ERP system
  • Review customer’s returns and complaints and initiate a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) with suppliers
  • Other duties may be assigned.

You will have:

  • Degree holder in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Applied Science, Textiles or related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of related experience in US/EU juvenile products, feedings, food contact, or hardline items
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, and laws such as FDA, EU Food Contact Regulations, and US/EU Toy Standards
  • Basic knowledge of APQP, Lean Six Sigma, and PFMEA
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in artwork approval and understanding of marketing claim validation
  • Less experience will also be considered as Assistant QA Engineer
  • Fluent in speaking in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
  • Occasionally travel to China and overseas (post-pandemic)
