We are currently seeking a QA Engineer – Automation, who will be responsible for testing and analysis of web-based application, writing test cases, test execution, and tracking issues through resolution. Desired experience is a minimum of 5 years as a QAE in automated software testing using any testing suite (Selenium, Playwright) as well as experience with SQL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent knowledge of software development, lifecycles, test methodologies, tools and passion for quality processes.
- Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high-quality release.
- Excellent in working with business partners and software development engineers to design and implement automated tests.
- Experience developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed defect reports, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
- Troubleshoot, triage and provide detailed debug information for expediting issue resolution.
- Experience testing large technology stacks with many software components.
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of industry experience as Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong experience in testing fairly complex workflows on SaaS platforms using web applications, APIs and microservices.
- Demonstrable experience solving difficult QA problems in the areas of scalability, reliability, reporting, and analytics.
- Strong experience with quality assurance processes, methodologies and tools.
- Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause
- Excellent communication skills and very detail oriented.
- Ability and passion for learning new frameworks and technologies quickly.
- 2+ years’ experience in test automation – Playwright (TypeScript), Cypress (JavaScript), Jest, Mocha, Playwright Test
- 2+ years’ experience in relational databases/SQL/APIs - MySQL, REST APIs, Postman, Swagger
- Experience with CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Experience with Version Control – GitHub, Bitbucket
- Experience with test reporting – Allure Reports, Cucumber Reports
- Experience with AI Tools – Claude Code, GitHub Copilot
- Nice to have experience in performance testing – JMeter, k6
- Experience working in health tech companies preferred / HIPAA compliance
- Experience working with health records and medical device data – including HL7 data preferred
